Oh so sweet sixteen
For my sixteenth birthday, I wanted to make my own dress to wear at my party. The pattern I got from a Burda, which I used a lot at that age to create garments. My sewing teacher taught me how to create big skirts: how to draw the pattern and how to put them most sustainably on the fabric. I love this the most of the dress because it gives it a child-like playfulness and innocence whilst also being appropriate for a sixteenth birthday.
